As a rule, at real estate purchase in credit, foreigners prefer to work with bank RBTT (Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago), it is a large bank which is well known on Caribbean islands.
Credit can be given on 60 % - 70 % from real estate cost, including notary services charges. Maximal term on which credit can be given makes up to 25 years under 8 - 9, 5 % annual, depending on age of clients.
These are general conditions; credit reception question is solved individually with each client.
Documents necessary for granting in Bank:
• Recommendation Letter from client’s bank
• Recommendation Letter from work
• Tax declaration for last two years
• Purchase Contract
