A unified property cadastre was introduced in Azerbaijan
July 28, 2010President Ilham Aliyev has approved regulations on stipulating and maintaining a unified real estate cadastre.
According to the document, the government plans to register all types of property, regardless of the type of ownership, ABC.az reports.
The cadastre will be introduced through a special center at the State Committee for Property Issues. The cadastre will be available both on paper and in electronic form.
Within the next three months, Azerbaijani government should develop an appropriate legislative framework and set a timetable for property registration.
