The number apartment sales halved in Minsk
July 21, 2010In June, 482 apartment transactions were registered in the Belarusian capital, which is 52.8% lower than in June 2009.

Note that the annual rate of decline has accelerated by June. In May, the reduction in apartment transactions in Minsk has been working out 39%, while amounting to 12.9% in January-May.
According to previously published official data, over the period from May to June, prices for Minsk apartments have climbed down by 1.2%. Many home buyers are resorting to wait-it-out strategy, hoping for further price reductions.
