Spanish housing prices continue to decline

In Q1, the index of Spanish residential property prices has climbed down by 0.9%, compared to the preceding quarter.

The most significant decline was registered in regions of Navarra, the Canary Islands and Cantabria, RTTNews reports, with reference to the Spanish Ministry of Housing. 

 
In comparison with the Q2 2009, Spanish housing has depreciated by 3.6%. The sharpest decrease was observed on the Canary Islands, Valencia and Aragon. At the same time, home values have increased in Asturias, Galicia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Cantabria, in yearly calculations. 
 
We would like to remind you that Spanish residential property prices have climbed down by 1.2% over Q1, compared to the preceding quarter.
