Housing prices continue to increase in the United States
July 13, 2010In May, the average value of residential property in the country has climbed up by 6.8% year-on-year.
U.S. housing continued to appreciate throughout June: its value has increased by 8.8%. June rate has become the highest annual growth registered over the past two years, Housing Wire reports, citing data provided by the Clear Capital Company.
Over Q2, prices have increased by 5.2%, compared to the preceding quarter.
Analysts believe that the increase in transactions number was caused by tax breaks for home buyers, which, in its turn, has pushed up the prices.
