Croatian construction industry is in decline
June 29, 2010In April, the volume of construction works decreased by 17.2%, compared to the same month last year.
Over the period from January to April, the figure plunged by 18.1%, year-on-year, Croatian Times says, citing data provided by the Central Bureau of Statistics of Croatia.
It is also noted that the share of building construction has amounted to 47.8% of the total volume of performed works, while the remaining 52.2% were attributed to other types of construction.
We would like to remind you that, in annual calculations, the number of building permits issued in April has decreased by 19.8%.
