Fewer building permits issued in Croatia
June 15, 2010In April, the indicator has plummeted by 19.8%, year-on-year.
83.7% of the overall number of permits was issued for building construction. The rest were granted for engineering and construction work.
If permits granted in April will be realized in full measure, 1.2 thousand new apartments will appear in Croatia, Croatian Times says, citing data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Croatia.
The quantity of building permits issued over January-April has plunged by 14.6%, compared to the same period last year.
