Annual residential property construction levels decrease in Bulgaria
June 07, 2010In Q1, 512 residential buildings were built in the country - a 19% decrease in comparison to the same period last year.
Over the specified period, the number of residential properties in new buildings has decreased by 26.9%, while their total area plunged by 28.2%, according to a report by Bulgarian Institute of Statistics.
Leaders in the pace of construction are as follows: Bourgas area (94 buildings with 677 residential properties), Varna district (86 buildings with 643 residential properties), Sofia and the Sofia area (66 buildings with 437 residential properties).
We would like to remind you that in Q4, the number of constructed residential buildings and properties has also declined in annual terms. However, in comparison to Q3, these figures have increased.
