Land prices decline in Baku
February 25, 2010The value of land in Azerbaijani capital has decreased by 2.1% in January, compared to the preceding month.
The most significant decrease in monthly prices has been registered in Yasamal district - 2.4%, says with reference to the data provided of the property market participants.
In January, the average cost per a square meter of land in Baku has amounted to $147.7. The most expensive land has been registered in the Nasimi district - $1900 per a sq. m. This area has also demonstrated the least significant buying activity.
Prices of land parcels for commercial construction have remained virtually unchanged, falling by 0.3% over December-January. In Garadahskiy district they have appreciated by 1.3%, while dropping by the same amount in Yasamal district.
